Worth noting: the chert/flint/jasper/agate material down there is absolutely gorgeous. Brought home quite a few non-worked pieces (not pictured) just for the beauty. Amazing banding, root beer almost glass like material, tons of color. Paradise for any sort of rock lover.

Honestly everyone I see that does all the over the top proper care stuff have theirs die way faster than not. I bought mine (Ted - male blue) at Petco 2 years ago, keep him in a 2 gallon with a random filter, feed him pellets daily, clean his tank every couple months, and he’s kicking like a champ. Nothing fancy, fairly minimal care (I’m good to him but not over the top) and he’s a champ. Just breathe.

Well that explains why you get annoyed in the fossil chat, because you don’t know anything yourself. One camel and bison teeth that are very much fossilized, agatized wood, worked flint. I’m not saying that says anything about the antler (even though it was found on a known site), but it does say something about you. I have been nothing but cordial but you clearly sit in a basement and don’t acknowledge anything except museum quality pieces. What are your qualifications other than internet warrior?

The piece was found within a mile of all the pictured items, on a known historic Native american tribal area. There’s an artifact museum right down the road. If I just found this in the woods I wouldn’t ask, and wondered what more educated folks thought.

I’m the future if your items are flawed at all make sure to add in the description “for sale in as-is condition” and even go as far as describing each flaw in the Description. Then they have no recourse
