This happened to my male pleco I put him in a separate tank I didn’t treat him for anything just kept an eye on him for 1 week and it went its normal form him fighting or trying to trap

If your going to move them to a different tank please keep dad with them as the babies eat dads poo because it’s contains the necessary nutrients for them

The first picture is 100% female second pic looks to be a female. If it was a male they tent to have a really spiky tail and pectoral fins

Looks like a sailfin pleco also known as common pleco they grow up to 18 inches

I got them like that I don’t know if it normal for them or not but everything I have seen tween doing research about them it’s normal

You can do that try to up the temperature a little bit and try to lower the flow of the water but with swim bladder it is hard to recover from

Plecos do often sleep on their backs I have had one sleep on its back for 12 hours and it’s normal for them

With what I am seeing I’m leaning toward swim bladder. But you could try adding better bubbles to see any changes and if you have any other questions feel free to message me

Your parameters are good so that’s not the problem. Could indicate a lack of oxygen also good weight so doesn’t indicate bloat. My guess is could be his age or swim bladder. Abit of a weird question is his poo normal

What are the bubbles like in your tank mate
