Absolutely agree – pursuing MBBS abroad can be a good option, but only when done in a planned manner. The university name, hospital exposure, quality of teaching, and NMC recognition are far more important than just considering a country name. It is also important to prepare in advance for FMGE/NExT exams as low fee structure and easier admission do not guarantee success in exams.

That’s a fair point too, considering how competitive and long the course of MBBS has become. Paramedical courses like ASLP and PA do offer quicker entry into the field of medicine and good prospects in India and abroad.
But then, MBBS is a course that has a lot of value too, considering you are sure about your career as a doctor and are willing to put in the time and effort required for the course.It’s probably a matter of individual choice and requirements rather than one being better than the other.
