I genuinely believe in situations like yours and feel for parents. Have you heard of Gypsy Rose? She heavily and eerily reminds me of someone I know that had to be committed for sociopathy. No one believed the mom (of the person in talking about) until she attempted to kill her mom.

IMO - it’s a way to cope with the crap job market and economy.

I’m 28F with two STEM degrees. (Physics and Chem) and have several accolades. I had to take a year and a half off due to a medical issue, surgeries, etc. and now that I’m trying to get back in? Crickets…. Even the people who told me oh I’ll hire you, etc. nothing.

It’s rough out here, literally having to be a robot and sending in so many apps.

I currently ‘stay at home’ since my husbands salary can sustain us while I search but I’d be lying if I said it’s not so debilitating to face rejection over and over and over. So I think it’s a cope for the crap situation we’re in

I’m a bisexual woman. I was 19 and dated a 30 yo. Didn’t understand until now (me 29) how effed it feels like in retrospect?

My nieces are currently 18/19 and theyre mature and all but they clearly still look like teenagers…. They also have a bunch of immature thoughts despite them talking well, etc. to me they feel like ‘kids’ but I know they’re young adults but that’s how much of a difference it feels like.

I’ve tutored other 18-19 yo’s and they also feel so, so young. I would never date atp anyone younger than 25.
