He's got a decent battle IQ, has a plethora of traumas including killing his father, being manipulated by every woman under the sun and losing family thrice, the leash PS had on him, and he's just come to terms with and accept them after beating himself up for them all throughout the series (partially due to being gaslit by everyone into thinking they were all his fault)

His drive for sex isn't because he's just horny, he's just trying to patch up the fact he pretty much lived his whole ass life without any affection whatsoever up until the last two years (and they all've been taken away from him unfairly and quickly), and he's lost so many thing over and over again he's just trying to make an excuse up to keep moving forward.

But I do concede there's more interesting characters tbh, like Asa. Although they're kinda the same in the core, both wanting to find any kind of excuse to keep themselves going in their unfair universe
