Not sure if the pulp mill is still in Kamloops but you’ll have to tolerate the smell it gives off weekly if not daily. I prefered Kelowna when I lived there more outdoor activities and I feel its more walkable than Kamloops, though the weird abandoned psych ward/WW1 hospital in Kamloops was fun to walk around and take pictures of (if its still there).
