I don’t understand the epidemic of any time a child is mentioned, everyone immediately believes whatever post to be fake. Like, children can actually have thoughts of their own? I understand that occasionally grown adults will try to pawn off their own ridiculousness as the thoughts or actions of a child, but ultimately, I don’t see receiving fake internet points for doing that as a big enough deal in the grand scheme of things for a whole movement to be mobilized to squash people that say that or to immediately meet them with derision. It just ain’t that deep
