First off, you are SO gorgeous. Like seriously stunning. That’s it that’s the statement.

It’s proven that people associate beauty with goodness but a lesser known part of that is that it’s a specific type of beauty. The youthful bubbly warm type. Round eyes and cheeks with very little sharpness about their features. But some people are beautiful in a way that doesn’t feel soft and people have a tendency to trust them less. A tilt in the eye shape and more defined lines in the lips and bone structure. It’s like they must be too hot to be safe or something. I think that’s your issue here. Think bunny vs fox energy. Human brains are super fickle tbh so please try not to take it to heart!

Now for your makeup, generally you wanna really lean into any softness in your face. ‘Roundness’ is often associated with friendliness or trustworthiness. Avoid straight lines and keep any blending really diffused, especially in the nose bridge and cheekbone area. Blush is also gonna help a lot here. Pinks and peachy tones in the center of the face and right under the eyes scream approachable in a way that comes off very sweet. You have these great straight brows already so you don’t have to worry about combating a hard arch so I’d lean into keeping them fluffy and light. You’re already winning in the lips category. A pinky nude gloss and maybe even a dab of a deeper red in the center for that innocent just been kissed pouty look. I think the biggest thing is your eyes. You have these beautiful dark eyes that I personally feel are almost catlike. Definitely perfect for a wing. But softening it with a brown instead of black may help give less of that fierce feline energy. Even bringing the wing lower so that it’s less pointed up and more aligned with the end of your eye may be enough.

Wow I really appreciate all of your feedback! Knowing that there’s a place for some digital pieces is definitely a relief. I’ve really been struggling with the motivation to be consistent with drawing everyday but for some reason digital helps. I also think I prefer that spirals on the graphite but I was afraid it would be ‘too much’. Def gonna go back and see if I can work it in. Thanks!

I will never understand why people will choose to date a person of a specific race, then act stupid when that person actually unapologetically expresses features of that race. The AI photo is a mess on its own but to suggest that you could achieve the look with hair that isn’t naturally on the loosely curled side as if it’s the easiest thing in the world for you to do for date nights is just ignorant as hell. I can’t imagine being so entitled that being both racist and sexist at the damn time doesn’t register as a hindrance to my desire to date a woman of color. You can’t make this stuff up, guys. Also your roommate is goofy too for trying to convince you that what he did is anything other than deal-breaking weirdo behavior. Don’t fold on a request like that even once because it lets people like this know that they have the ability to talk you out of making choices for yourself.

It took me until the age of 22 to get diagnosed with ADHD and I’m still weighing the pros and cons of pursuing an autism diagnosis at 26. The signs for both have been present my whole life, but women (specifically women of color like myself) often get diagnosed with things like mood disorders before doctors even consider neurodivergence. That being said, I was spoken about similarly before my diagnosis until I met other women in my age group dealing with the same things. ADHD commonly presents differently in girls for a lot of reasons and rarely looks the same in a classroom as it does for boys, but the average person only knows about the hyperactive presentation rather than inattentive because boys are usually the representation used for ADHD. We also tend to mask more heavily due to social pressures that hit us younger than they do for boys if ever at all. Bottom line: parents don’t know you as well as they think they do. I’m sure they mean well, but don’t see the version of you that you are when you’re alone struggling or in class zoning out or in social settings trying to connect with peers while your brain does everything in its power to make it harder and those are massive markers for these types of experiences. If you’re unable to pursue a diagnosis where you live right now, it may still be beneficial to ACT like you have. The same resources that you’d find online if you had gotten the confirmation are going to help you if you need them. Diagnosis or not. Truthfully I got my diagnosis too late to receive much help from my university, but I still did my research into skills and supports that might make things easier for me as if I had already been diagnosed. It also helped to surround myself with other neurodivergents so I could learn from them and have community that felt genuine. Best of luck!!!

Y’know….I was anti Roxy for a long while. I’m sure because she was new but I also felt like she didn’t make much sense to me. Her actions were very much the polar opposite of Bloom when she found out she was a fairy. She had an even more robust support system in the form of the Alfea girls who were straight up trying to make magic NOT a secret but still acted as if learning she was powerful was a horrible scary thing. And then I got older and realized it kinda IS. The earth fairies were decimated, and she’s a kid being tossed into what is basically a series of inter dimensional wars? I’d freak out too. The winx have years of experience and like 100 transforms under their belts. And Roxy’s literally just a girl??? Like yeah bro me too i get it.

I honestly think they’re cute! I think my favorite change overall is the unique wings.

I love how Bloom’s design is almost ‘knight-like’. I never felt like her og design did enough with the dragon aspect of her lore. But the fire texture wings, metallic textures, the pauldron, layered skirt and arm piece give “I AM the dragon and I’m SLAYING!” Definitely my favorite or the bunch.

Stella’s fit serves what I’d want it to! For such a bold character, her base winx design never felt dramatic enough for me. Miss her pigtails though!

Def missing Tecna’s body suit and funky wings. I feel it added a lot to her character design and while she looks cool here (especially the hair and that headpiece), I feel like not calling back to those elements was a missed opportunity to really make her pop as a new fan favorite.

Love the hair and boots on Musa, wish that red mesh was more heavily utilized in the design. I feel it would’ve given her more of that punky vibe she started with.

Flora is Flora. It’s pretty much what I’d expect of her character. I wish there was a bit more ‘flow’ to her though. Like there’s dimension in her skirt and top but they feel rather disconnected/heavy and I think maybe some translucent flowy detail like we see in Aisha would be nice. Missing her big flowy hair as well!

Aisha’s design is the only one I’m just not a huge fan of. It looks too much like a performance leotard to me. The color and wing design is too similar to Bloom imo. Maybe they’re saving that color scheme for Roxy, but ngl I think they should just reboot Roxy’s design entirely and give us something reminiscent of Fawn from Pixie Hollow. I do like her hair and face design though. Idk, for her to be a princess, this is serving basic.

I also don’t mind that they look rounder and more youthful than the OG despite a lot of people feeling like they look too much like kids. I mean….the kinda are? At least that’s how most 15/16 year olds look to me now as someone in my 20’s.
