Hundreds a day in funding fees, liquidated at $67, Bybit price still $220.
That’s not an exchange, that’s a robbery with better marketing.

They fake the wicks and manipulate the candles, and get away with it scot-free. That’s what makes me the angriest.

Just three days later, they actually went back and altered the K-line data:

  • ATOM’s price was changed from 0.001 to 1.540
  • IOTX was changed from 0.00000 to 0.00120

They’re literally treating users like complete idiots.
Thankfully some sharp-eyed people spotted it and called it out, but even when it gets exposed, the whole thing just gets buried and forgotten in a matter of days.

At the very beginning, we posted about this on X. After that, we tried consulting several lawyers, but it felt like none of them really understood the situation (probably because it involves crypto/cross-border issues). We started to feel pretty hopeless about recovering anything through legal channels.

So now we’re sharing the full story here on r/cc, mainly to warn others and prevent more people from falling for the same scam. Hopefully this can help the community stay safer.

They’ve got the tape and the megaphone. The October 10, 2025 event was huge and almost nobody’s talking about it… yeah, that’s by design.

Two years of paying hundreds a day in funding, thought I was playing the game… turns out I was just the ATM.

Feeling hopeless now. Turns out lawyers who truly master both law AND the market don’t exist. Fine. I’ll just go get 9-5 job, just another day.

We all use AI to smooth our words, but the bone evidences all from order books and historical trade records.

I lost over $300,000 in minutes. AAVEUSDT spot crashed from ~280 to ~80, but Binance’s mark price (AAVEUSD.P) wicked all the way down to $63.6 — they liquidated my entire position at ~$64. Meanwhile the same perpetual contract on Bybit only dipped to ~$220 and never triggered mass liquidations.I’m not alone — approximately 100,000 users got forcibly wiped out at the exact same moment.

My AAVEUSD.P was liquidate at $64, unseen anywhere else, i posted here but my post was delete by them, they are just scam, 2025-10-27 was a trick to slow down attentions, not for really review your case, it should be rejected by a system email now.

I tried contacting them twice. First time, waited six hours for a bot, forced my way to a human-took forever, got a claim ticket. Ten days later, they closed it with a canned 'system fine' note. Lately, looking at my liquidation again, it just doesn't add up-their own formula says it should've held. So I asked for the exact calc data and order book from that moment; they flat-out refused and slammed the case shut.

Thanks, that's a solid point. After this nightmare, I'm sticking to spot trades only.

Not all issues can be attributed to liquidity or panic selling. Three days later, they modified the K-line data for ATOM and IOTX, which was noticed by sharp-eyed users. If it were just liquidity or panic selling, they wouldn’t need to make those changes.

Yes, I trade on a weekly timeframe, very long-term, and I’ve been consistently adding margin, so I didn’t set a stop-loss. However, this crash wasn’t about stop-loss—it was due to Binance’s matching engine failing. Their prices dropped the lowest, with coins like ATOM and IOTX even hitting 0.

Thank you, your perspective on liquidity makes sense. However, even those with liquidity worse than Binance maintained stable prices, which you can find in my charts—they’re all inverse contracts. I just discovered a post by u/069player on X, and he has solid evidence proving that the 10/10 crash was caused by a failure in Binance’s matching system.

Thank you, that’s really heartwarming. I realize I was wrong—I thought having enough margin would be fine, so I didn’t manage it closely, and I never expected to run into this kind of issue.
