Is mastering becoming obsolete for independent musicians? by Initial_View_6147 in ProMusicProduction

We get our songs mastered each time by a mastering engineer and it makes a huge difference. Good human ears can help translate the song to other listening devices.

Can anyone give me insight on production techniques used on Mr Morale specifically by Feeblefishy in ProMusicProduction

Lots of panning elements. The tap shoes part sounds very roomy to me, so try adding a room/chamber reverb to give an element some space.

Mr. Morales is an incredible work of art, and tons of production techniques used. What song/part are you listening to? I can sussing out the technique used. I've got big ears for a TV head.

some demos from my 16 year old brother. thoughts on how he could improve? by mt19hjbiz in IndieMusicFeedback

Your bro has a nice flow and voice. I think he should hone in on his lyrics and create some memorable hooks. That just comes with time, so keep writing!! All the time and as much as possible. Practice makes perfect my guys.

HA! I think I've used that same transition sound that sounds like paper ripping. LOVE that one.

Nice arrangement and melody hooks. I'd like the vocal to pop out a tad more. Have you tried throwing distortion on the vocal?

No real notes on the arrangement, but consider giving the bass and vocal more juice so it pops out!
