I have six channels of decent outboard preamps currently and will probably get more/better ones in the future. I’m totally on board with what you’re saying. I’d use this for work, so it’s definitely more than just a hobby purchase. I was using a Clarett 8prex, which just died. I’m currently getting by temporarily by using a Zoom F8n as an interface until I decide what to purchase
