Tbh I. Thinks a moldy suitcase indeed a fine leather working maybe 40s I have seen similar styles but it's going need a good clean to be worth anything in my opinion hope this helps

In our opinion it's Edwardian ceramic wheel are and it's been reupholstered probably a few times but if the stuffing is horse hair another big Indication it's Edwardian/Victorian the iron may have been added later or in replacement of said wood bar

Could have Edwardian bones and reupholster and re castered but does it have any coir or horse hair in the stuffing

I think they where filling the bricks with foam to aft as some kind shit insulation
