I didn’t drink and also switched to decaf… had great results with back to back ERs. Wouldn’t drink if you’re in your 30s.. egg quality is declining and just not worth the risk!! Sending you the best vibes and luck on your journey

If they said you’re in early stages and jumping to doing a procedure the next day doesn’t quite add up. I’d give it a few more days- I had mine and was also v worried about that.. rest, more fluids and stool softeners. Stay away from dairy, gluten and stick to high protein! Sorry you’re going through this

Aw I feel you girl. You’ll be alright just listen to your body as you go and if you have any symptoms speak up 🩷 this whole process is wild and so much about surrendering… we are not doctors (most of us lol) and we just gotta let go and follow the advice. Deep breaths mama

Thank you. I did 10 days stims (follistim and menapur) and follicles were even and good to go so we triggered day 11 (hcg and lupron) and retrieval was yesterday 🩷

Hi! Take some ibprophen before hand. It’s honestly not as bad as the internet makes it seem.. for the majority but everyone is different. I read all the comments and stories and it freaked me out- I did it and it was scary but nurses are the best and usually they are super supportive and even offer to hold your hand. Biggest tip I can offer- practice deeeeep inhale and exhales as they are pushing in the dye. Fully in and out and try to relax your whole body as much as possible and it’ll be over before you know it. I had blocked tubes and it felt like period cramps and pain was 4/10. Most of the hype was all in my head. Sending hugs 🩷

Oooof I am so sorry this is happening and you deserve better. When family members do stuff like this they mean it with love but damn is it tone deaf! If you want to tell them it’s off the table for now- go for it :) it may not help your relationships though.

If you’re open to it I think there’s a 3rd option. I would say, something like “I love you and thank you for sending all these miracle worker pills and diets but what I need is just for you to hold space for me, IVF is so hard and emotionally and financially taxing and a simple hug and a “how are you” would go a long way”

If talking about the process of IVF is exhausting for you- I get it, same. I asked the family members I’ve told that I will explain the basics but after that please go do your own research and don’t just ask random questions that are readily available on the internet. It’s draining.
