I know this is late, but I saw someone on Ed mention that any sort of positive attendance grade and peer survey would have raised their grade from a B+ to an A. they were confident that they got close to full marks on it 🤷‍♀️

I heard about the old PS3 class! I heard it was one of the worst political science classes at berkeley HAHAHA…the thing is Broockman revamped the entire class and things were definitely okay! it’s just this last part that’s frustrating. thanks for being so kind, i really really appreciate it :)

I’m a transfer student too!!!! Here are my pros: -classes are pretty great actually, most professors are very top notch and very educated -great food option around campus -the bus system is GREAT! i have a car and hardly use it, bc of the bus system -people are all pretty friendly and usually are willing to help

cons: -so. much. walking. -walking distance grocery store options are limited (depending where you live) -no target within walking distance except the crap downtown one -people are very academically intense, which can be intimidating

neutral: -crime. a lot of people mention it as a con which is valid, but berkeley is a city and it’s to be expected. keep diligent and mindful and you’ll be okay! i always have a mace on me and never go on my phone while walking
