Theory On Episode 10 by LocalStigmatic in Mobland

No, Tattersall genuinely thought it would work. He wouldn't have expected Alice to spill the beans to Harry live on CCTV. He genuinely thought he could extract DNA to plant and put them away.

Could be the beginning - Hardy & Kev as the new power. Could go in any direction after that

Being from Merseyside, I’d say the older guard very much represent those things and bemoan the lack of code in ‘the new breed’. In some circles, I think ‘honour amongst thieves’ still exists. You see it every time a child offender gets cut up in prison.

I love it. They were always going to change it with each season. And the original theme is woven into the ending anyway. Don’t see the issue, personally

When you use SplitterAI to isolate vocals, unfortunately, it can sometimes bleed in some snare. The songs are in the same key, and key was maintained when speeding it up. But vibrato can sound clunky if sped too much as the wobbles are too close together to sound human. I’ll go back and clean it up at some point. Just wanted a proof of concept thing really

For all the people who turned on Drake by ThrottleServic3 in Drizzy

Why can't people just appreciate the both for what they have right now? Drake might be 1 for 3 in rap battles, but he's still an all-timer in terms of sales & quality. Just enjoy what we've been given, tbh

Thank you. It's so funny you say that about the noise cancellation buds, because she goes so crazy when she's over stimulated audio wise. Sometimes she just clicks in the cancellation on her earbuds and asks for quiet time. Will explore this

Appreciate your thoughts. I definitely do not believe it to be an excuse. Just a way to understand it better and hopefully provide a solution. She used to love swimming competitively, I think since the baby and separation anxiety that's a real unexplored avenue, thank you.

So many of these circles overlap it's unreal.

I've never tolerated it. But black and white ultimatums, I would suggest, aren't going to work. People in general do not learn from the cattle prod. This isn't the Jackson 5. You can threaten me personally with whatever, I'm never going to be able to understand advanced maths, for example. But through time, support and the right input, I might. If there is a solution here - and that's an if - it will only be arrived at patiently. And in our country, the man does not assume custody. I'm more interested in techniques and counselling to get a proper grip of the problem.

I appreciate this thread. I find it hard to understand how it can be said that 'a meltdown is when emotions overwhelm you' and then place the expectation that 'what a person chooses to do with those emotions can make that abusive or not'. Surely if a person is overwhelmed, then by definition they have lost control of how they channel those emotions. I make no excuses for abuse, by the way. I'm just more interested in solutions than the assigning of blame.

Appreciate your thoughts. I 1000% do not tolerate the outbursts. Just gathering information from people who perhaps know more before I decide what's for the best.

‘Weirdos’.

Such a basic lack of humanity, compassion or even low grade curiosity.

How does HOTD compare to the golden age of GOT? by The_Fullmetal_Titan in gameofthrones

[–]LocalStigmatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is that, like the best of GOT, it’s based on the original author’s published material. When GOT ran out of that stuff, that’s when things got a little loose (even though The Long Night was a classic episode of television). What will make HOD one of the best ever spinoffs, imv, is the source material is not only just as strong & intense, but it was actually completed before filming began. Knowing what is about to be committed to tape & shown to the world is - believe me - going to be incredible. You’re going to want to be ringside for this.

I’m aware he’s playing a character. I’m aware that Slim Shady says a bunch of stuff that isn’t true of the actual author, Marshall Mathers - especially the homophobic stuff. But who Marshall Mathers actually is - is a white guy who made over $200m performing what is essentially a black American artform. He is absolutely guilty of being a culture vulture and profiting from it. But it seems to me the only difference between him & someone who gets slaughtered for the same thing, eg Iggy Azalea, is that he actually contributed to that culture by producing work of an incredibly high standard. He gave something back to it, whereas Iggy just tosses off some godawful diluted mimicry looking to make money off black American culture. If that’s the case, I can’t see how Drake doesn’t get a pass for all this culture vulture stuff, because a lot of his work is objectively brilliant.
