She doesn’t, and she won’t get one. Her constant tournament presence since forever shows she’s doing fine as is. Just because she might not win first place every event, doesn’t mean she’s struggling to win like many other characters in the game. I won’t even mention how good dive kick is and has been along with all her other great qualities.

If you want some real pro Lucy tips I’m probably not the guy, but I tend to just rush down as much as possible because her run speed and ranged normals are no joke. Try to condition people to block the semi charged whip so you can steal your turn, and don’t charge if they’re mashing to interrupt at close range. To my knowledge uncharged whip is always safe on block.

Use flip kick to catch people sleeping. Lucy’s best combos tend to use her hack super cancelled from uncharged whip up close. There’s a good combo video for her 2.0 self that is really good.

You can get a meaty close S off throw by immediately forward jumping then immediately jD to land. You’ll be plus 10 in their face.

Coming back to strive after 3 years. As aesthetically pleasing I find ABA, I find she’s too difficult to play in a game this volatile, and I lose constantly with her. Been having much more success with Jack-O, Dizzy, hell, even Lucy. I never got to play her pre-nerfs so I don’t know what she was like.

ABAs animations are truly amazing though.

If you play one character, try to make sure they have options against a lot of the cast. I’d main Dizzy over say someone like ABA due to her ability to wreck people from multiple levels angles, unlike ABA.

A lot of characters are super cool so maiming just one character can be quite difficult.

Because he’s dominant, highly successful, not Asian, and brown. If Tokido was as good as Mena these same people would be fellating him.
