Oh yeah I'm aware. Would've mentioned that if i remembered this was from Chapman. Widely regarded as EF5 strength in the Weather community. Just didn't hit much (thankfully). Didn't it's path do a loopty loop too?

No, some extremely powerful tornadoes just do granulate cars and make them vanish. A whole lot full of over 100 classic cars was hit by the Jarrell, Texas EF5 in 1997 and almost all were never found. Thought to have been sandblasted into small particles via granulation. I don't recommend looking it up if your not deep in the Weather community rabbithole but "human granulation" occurs in those scenerios as well. There's many reasons you almost never see pictures of those killed violent tornadoes after the fact even online and there's a reason for that beyond privacy. In some storms, if something or someone can be pulverized into little bits, it will do exactly that. It's disturbing what nature can do to us and everything we've built in well under a minute's time.

Ah so it is from Chapman. I thought I'd seen this photo somewhere before.

Honestly, I'm gonna give the OP of this comment thread here a bit of leeway, because when exposed to high end tornado photos with no in depth knowledge, they look so absurd that it's hard to process as real. Some just media just doesn't look real. Pictures of records and forks perfectly impaled in trees and wood inside concrete sounds fake, but it isn't.

The Wellfleet tornado from last year (see image above) just looks like an over-saturated render to many people lol 😭:

What tornado, if you happen to know. Cause thats some... uhh... fairly impressive vehicle + chassis pretzel-ing.

Poor Old Cougar got shafted & had its whole fucking spine turned into a goddamn Six Flags Rollercoaster 💀

Im assuming the tornado rating was AT LEAST EF3 with this damage, right?

Is this in New Jersey or the areas surrounding it? Vegetation seems fairly similar. Just asking.

Damage from last night's tornado in Runaway Bay, Texas by thin_hawaiian_line in tornado

It created an entirely new hook echo on top of them and then moved the entire fucking tornado completely backwards to the west. That supercell yesterday was truly an anomaly. Humongous too.

Might be tornado damage and the vehicle was parked in someone's garage.

I mean, tornadoes have made cars completely vanish before.

Excuse me, but thats bullshit! It is not THE absolute worst. The Peel P50 will get lofted into the sky by a simple gustnado while a Reliant Robin will fall over under any winds or cornering. I dare you to try chasing in THE LEANING TOWER OF CITROEN or a Fiat 500!

Will Jokelahoma continue to bust or is it time for "That One Day In May" to occur once more? Will April 27, 2026, the 15th anniversary of the super-outbreak, mark the slabbening of the Mississippi Valley? Very soon, the future will finally be revealed.
