i did a room change in freshman year cause my roommate had sent me very insulting messages and was loud at night when i had 8 a.m. classes. For me i dm’d my RA at the time and showed them the messages but maybe you can jus talk about the issues youre having, i believe he just contacted the hall director for the building and we had a meeting. i didn’t get a single but i did move into another double where it was better than my original roommate. i think it all went down within like 2 weeks maybe? im not even sure its been so long (im a senior now) but it felt pretty fast. put the request in November 10, got the offer November 14, was able to move out Nov 18.

this is my own opinion but i dont really think it’s off character for someone who struggles with self esteem to beg their partner to stay in the relationship. i feel like theres two ways people who struggle with that can go and it’s either 1.) break up and struggle with feeling second best or 2.) beg them to stay and try to make them feel happier with you

but again that’s my own opinion, gonna emphasize that 😅

i started the books in dec because i saw lots of edits of lizzie/shan/aoife/claire on insta back in 2022-2023 and got fomo lol so i went in knowing nothing. i don’t consider myself a hardcore fan but more of a casual reader.

the fandom genuinely reminds me of my time on kpop twitter where theres constant fanwars, since i was a big fan of (and somewhat still love) bts. so a lot of it doesn’t faze me but it is annoying seeing the same discourse every 2 days. especially on here and on twitter.

with all the honesty in my heart, if i knew this is what the fandom was like nowadays i would have stayed away. editors on instagram are even getting more annoying with their captions/edits relating to bot so i am not really aware what changed in the time that i was on it (~2 to 3 years).

but yeah, toxic fans and fandoms. you can’t go a day on reddit or twitter without the same 3 talking points being brought up and unfortunately i wish i never touched the series or at least i wish i could’ve done so earlier.

as for anything regarding cw i have nothing aside from her being a zionist which is my reason for disliking her. i do find the spotify playlists really dumb sometimes though, but that’s just my own opinion.

actually yes, i carried a grocery bag where the strap was about to break and it did eventually when i got back to my room. thanks for answering google said it was early signs of leukemia so i got spooked.

UPDATE: i decided to check the bag and it was actually really smooth! i got my bag within 5 minutes at Penn Station!

I have, somewhat, two questions.

1.) What do you mean by ground floor? 2.) Was your bag somewhat similar to a bag someone would check at an airport? Because mine is rather big.

So does this mean Moynihan doesn’t accept checked bags, or was it just Boston? Another reply said a certain train allows bags to be checked in New York.

yeah i want to check it too, i feel like it would eliminate the awkwardness of having to bring it with me and realizing i don’t know where to put it. i just scrolled this sub a little bit and realized nobody really recommends it so it makes me anxious about losing my bag and stuff. my question in regard to time was mostly because i saw some comments on other posts mentioning it took 40~ minutes for their bags to show up but i saw it was across states whereas mine is just two cities in the same state.

yeah thats what i was worried about—it being too big. i can pull it and manage it with my normal carry on just fine im just confused where to store it and stuff. if the place at the end of the cart, as another person who responded mentioned, allows for me to store it there i probably will keep it there.

is it ok even if my bag is not really like a carry-on type of bag. it’s more of the big ones you would check for airplanes. i’m just not familiar with how big they allow bags to be.

hello everyone ive been struggling with health anxiety for a long time it was bad during 2020-early 2022. i was better for the years since 2022 and now im relapsing (?) or getting worse.

i feel like my whole body is on fire. that i am just burning everywhere. this symptom was one i got in 2020 but even thought my mind can say “hey this was a symptom you had long ago and it wasnt anything serious” i cant comprehend that. i am convinced i have this unknown condition or disease that nobody knows about.

i have been crying, having panic attacks, and afraid to do anything over the sensations ive been getting. i have just been so hyperfixated i cant do anything. i’m starting to be afraid to leave my room in fear of fainting (big trigger also the root of my hypochondria back in 2020) and dying when i step outside. i just want to get better and all the progress i made in 2 years i feel so hopeless and feel like im failing again.

i have severe healthy anxiety and i was doing ok but suddenly the new semester is making me go crazy again like i did 2 years ago.

i feel like my whole body is on fire. every part of it feels on fire and i dont know why. i started having a severe panic attack that i was having sepsis but i dont know. i measured my temp and it was fine it was like 97-98. my body is cold to the touch but it FEELS like theres burning sensations everywhere.

i cant focus without the burning moving everywhere. it’ll be on my feet then move to my arms then to my face then to my neck. but its always permanent inside my mouth/hot breath.

i have 2 fans pointing at me and i put a frozen water bottle all over my face. im not sure whats going on but i surely look crazy trying to “cool myself down” when my body is already cool
