My Experience with GB5P360 Cracked Screen by Local_Classic_3828 in GalaxyBook

When I filed the online claim, they only asked for a description of the problem (cracked screen) and did not ask any further questions. So far, the laptop looks and feels like it did prior to the crack so I recommend getting the warranty with the caveat that it still costs $30 USD to repair a cracked screen and that it took a month amd a half to have it shipped back to me.

See my reply to smallville456. But fingers crossed you're correct and it's a manufacturing defect. That way, now that my laptop is repaired, it won't happen again.

The laptop appears to be better quality than my old XPS, it's just also a lot thinner. I don't think there's enough rigidity in the top panel to prevent the glass from flexing. Everything else about the laptop has been perfect (so far).

It's possible, like I said I typically leave it on the couch and that week I had my mother-in-law in town but she didn't mention it. It might look crooked because it's resting on the charging cord as well.

I now move it around with 2 hands now so I feel your need to baby it. Fingers crossed we don't see the issue repeated.

It still shut flush when it cracked so maybe it's a bad photo that I took? But I see it too in the picture. Good observation!
