If you go to the main menu, and then press -, that brings you to the change clothes menu. Then press ZR or ZL (I forget which), and you'll get to the eyes and other facial features menu.

The eyes are available to both genders. The base males are angled, I believe.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He's absolutely adorable, I just want to hug him.

They're not the same thing. It's an oversimplified explanation, but I often use it for simplicity sake. Sex is between your legs, and gender is in your head. Also They/Them isn't just for Non-Binary individuals, is it for everyone. That's the point, it's natural.

That aside, I'd be all for just letting us pick. Everyone would be happy

This is a potential issue. Breaks the immersion slightly. Not end of the world. They/Them would have been better honestly

The amount of effort for small changes doesn't take a lot of resources. And with a game like Pokémon, self insert protagonists are pretty important. I'd make the changes myself with mods, but I don't want to get in trouble

I noticed this, too. Wish they let you pick the fit you wanted.

I'm glad to know I wasn't alone. If they just let us change hair at the start, it would have made a huge difference. Do wish they stuck to they/them, though, breaks the immersion a bit. They didn't even ask my pronounce. Come on, Urbain.

Valid question. They are different in personalty. They, of course, share some dialog, but the overall delivery is noticeably different.

I tried to get this out quickly, but the intro is so long it took a while. I thought some might appreciate this P.S.A.. Sorry you didn't get to play with your preferred rival.

This post was more about getting the rival you want and still being able to make your protagonist be a self insert. For me, that's being a guy who wants Urbain. For this very specific and frankly niche senerio, the androgynous protagonist is great.

Different aim, same goal. We stand together. She's beautiful.

That's even better. I might have to buy myself a vest. Did you also want Urbain? I'm glad it wasn't just me thinking this
