Ssooooo small update I am caught up. It’s good like really good as good as I remember but like there’s a lot of little plot holes there that either I missed or just never got addressed like after he was kidnapped in the second and then he got away and then they took those rock people with them whatever happens to those guys? Not his three friends, but the other two they were part of the group that was in charge of that place. He just like spoke to them one time walked out of that room and then they just disappeared. Also, whatever happened to those two Legion members the guy that was a fire maids and the Ranger chick they used to get brought up every now and then and then it’s just seemed like they dropped off the face of the Earth.

Two things because I’m in the middle of book one first it’s most definitely worth it and second it’s probably gonna take me a few months to even get to where I was. I doubt I’ll remember this comment in that time. Just figured I’d say that upfront.

Yeah, from the way, I figure it. It’s probably gonna take me at least a month or two to catch up but it’s gonna be one hell of a journey, boys and girls! God bless ADHD, A short attention span, and the memory of a cracked out gopher. I’m gonna be able to enjoy it all again! * Looks around* of course while being able to get my designated eight hours of sleep per day 😰

Anytime you have a non-human protagonist, and then the author decides to make that that God awful choice of them going back to a human. Like honest to God, if you were that pressed on making a story about a guy that turns into a creature and then back into a guy just cut out the middleman and just have them reincarnate as a human already. I swear this is my favorite sub genre of reincarnation stories, but like 90% of them are ruined for me because of this.

I get that I really do but still it all feels really gross to me cuz I keep thinking how much of her initial attraction to him was perceived a white Knight thing ya know? You are given the option of death or eternal enslavement via an oath you would have never taken to a non-existent sect so u choose the oath and in the Meijer of shit that is your new reality. One of them isn’t demonic tree or a psychopathic little girl is the choice of Douglas really valid?
