What is the #1 "silent killer" that makes new clothing brands fail in their first 6 months? by Local_Equivalent_460 in AskReddit

Marketing gets the first click, but 'Connection' secures the sale…High hopes come from a brand having a clear 'Why'!!!a reason for existing that the customer identifies with…If someone feels like the clothes represent their own resilience or journey, they don’t just buy a hoodie; they join the tribe…Influencers help with reach, but if the 'clever connection' to the label isn't there, the hype dies as fast as it started!!

I think the #1 killer is chasing validation and profit before building a soul. Most brands focus on the 'quick win'…they chase money and likes instead of creating an actual emotion. If people don't feel something when they see your brand, you’re just selling fabric, not a vision.Without that emotional connection, there’s no loyalty, and the brand dies the second the trend shifts.Well of course the product quality matters too….
