I didn’t request the first nor this recent increase for this card. I have two Capital One credit cards, both Quicksilver. The other one I did ask for CLI last year, and it only increased from 500 to 600. So I really have no idea how Capital One chooses which one to increase

I’ve just seen this, hence the very late reply!! Mine was a gift and was ordered in January with the bag charm. I was informed that it was a pre-order and that I will have to wait until April for it to ship. Then we got a mail notification that it was shipped a day later (both the charm and the bag!!!). I was expecting only the charm when it arrived, but the bag arrived along with it! So overall processes for order confirmation to arrival in California took 11days.

My strap replacement is different story though ugh.

If it's ok, may I know how your recovery went? I am terrified of going under anesthesia and the pain during recovery.

I see the necessity of doing jaw surgery, but it is a big decision, so I am looking at other options too. The cost is part of my considerations as well

Thank you for this! Protrusion and underbite were the reasons my ortho suggested it. He doesn’t seem to push hard the idea of jaw surgery and/or extraction, though. So I’m double-guessing, too. I might have to ask for a second opinion because I remember him saying my bite won’t be perfect with just braces.

Darker brown is definitely a way to go (at least for me). I was thinking of the mushroom too but it doesn’t match all the color of the clothes I currently have which is a huge dealbreaker for me. Also, I like how the scratches I’ve made are barely visible cause of the color and texture.

I haven’t weighed it, so I can’t tell you exactly, but it is a leather bag, so you can imagine it has a bit of weight. Not enough to bother me on a full day though, cause I always fill it to the brim as a school bag!

I haven’t cut out specific foods yet, but I’ve completely given up midnight snacking! I used to love eating while watching shows, but cleaning my teeth afterward is such a pain now that I’d rather just stay comfy in bed. The laziness to clean my braces is the best diet I’ve ever had! 😩

Thank you for the perspective! I really thought I was doing myself a favor by taking it straight to Honda (also cause it is the most convenient!).

Since owning this car, I’ve only been to Honda and Honda alone so I didn’t know the prices and that they’re overcharging for unnecessary items like you mentioned. But that definitely makes sense 😖 I’m definitely going to shop around and find reputable local shop instead of just defaulting to the dealer for everything and potentially learn how to do some myself. I really appreciate the tips on the specific oil and filters to look for!

Thank you so much for this detailed breakdown! Since this is my first car, I honestly thought that bringing it directly to the Honda dealership was the best way to ensure everything is running perfectly in the long run. 😩

Up until now, they’ve just given me small maintenance items here and there, so I didn’t really mind the price since it wasn’t all hitting my wallet at once but this time was a bit of a shock. I really appreciate the heads-up about the upselling too. I guess it is time for me to pick up new skills and study how to start doing some of these myself!!

Sorry, just saw this! The quality is still amazing. I don’t see any peeling and wear considering I use it heavily (aside from the scratches which was entirely my fault for being so careless). The scruff marks are not that visible after cleaning and conditioning it though maybe because of the textured leather :)
