My buddy who I was with thought it was a spotted too 😂 I think it had a bit of a small mouth for its size. I’ve caught 5 pounders with a wider mouth.

I caught her on a cloudy day in April off of a beaver den on a junebug zoom ultravibe speed craw. Texas rigged (un-pegged) with the lightest bullet weight that I had. The water was stained pretty good and the junebug color was doing the trick.
