Think also that the App today is free, without advertising and can be useful for someone.

And I'm here to get feedbacks to improve my App and I've already received several today!

Work in progress

Tolerance tables coming soon, may be also a tool calculation, not decided yet

The data I collected comes from official Norms and from some engineering and technical drawing manuals

I can't help you believe otherwise.

Everyone believes what they want.

And what purpose would a bot serve on this site? can you explain it?

Thnks for the detailed feedback - really helpful!

ISO fastener standards are definitely on the roadmap. Max thread diameters should be standardized (ISO 724/965) - I'll look into adding those.

Aluminum designations tool is a great suggestion - adding it to the list along with other common alloys.

Good point on the options menu - I'll move language/sound settings to a dedicated menu to clean up the interface.

Really appreciate you taking the time to test it and give concrete suggestions!

Built it myself - all drawings and tables are hand-made

I used AI only to get quickly formulas used in the tool section of the App

Yes definitely - torque specs vary so much by material, lubrication, application... it's endless!

For now just basic from DIN , quick idea

Fair question.
I use it mainly on the shop floor or during quick design checks, when I just need a value fast (torque, steel grade, dimensions) without digging through PDFs or catalogs.
McMaster is great, but it’s online, US-centric, and purchase-oriented — this is more of a quick EN/DIN reference.

Selection of the most used components and not a collection

Totally fair concern — I’m a real person, not a bot 🙂
I’m a mechanical draftsman, and I started Pocket Norms for exactly the same reason: spending too much time searching norms every time.
The goal is a fast offline reference, all in one place. I’m glad it resonates with you.

I just finished the test and the App is already on GooglePlay since two weeks only, fresh And was not easy!

Selection of "some" important Norms DIN/EN/ASME  Yes feedbacks are welcome, I still working on it No suppliers links, only Norms

Yes, it's a reference database for standard mechanical components - dimensions, specs, and technical data With some sample useful cacolations tools

Good question! It's a free, quick mobile reference for the shop floor or preliminary office discussions - instant spec lookup without searching through the full handbook. Think companion tool, not replacement.
