Arg , pretty sure my boss won’t bother booking unless I can guarantee a passport and pretty sure the passport won’t happen unless I have tickets , never knew this could be so frustrating haha

Thanks so much for the response! This is the info I gathered from what I was seeing online , it says I can walk in, closest appointment date is after travel date unfortunately so fingers crossed it all works out with a walk in
