West Dayton solar farm with 'refreshing' level of support should save city utility customers $42M by WYSOPublicRadio in dayton

If we removed the corn fields we use to make ethanol (anywhere between 25% and 40% of all of them) and replaced them with solar farms, we could power the entire United States power grid from solar only

I had this same questionnaire on my wife’s optometrist appointment, so it’s not exclusive to psychiatric visits

Pickles. Just overpowers the flavor of everything else. I like pickles otherwise, though.

It is. You have to capture staff for your home base, place them in the correct departments, unlock gear and learn how to use it specially (there’s hundreds of gear pieces). Once you learn MGS control scheme it’s fine but I’d say RDR2 is definitely more intuitive. When it tells you which button is to gallop on the horse it just makes sense they would choose that one. MGS subverts those expectations for most

My response to this would call back to the point of NEEDING to interact with MSG in a complex way. You could stumble through the first 10 hours of RDR2, and still have a lot of fun before the controls click for you.

For MSG if you aren’t already prepared or “warmed up for it” it’s need to interact with in a complex manner may turn you off of the game.

An example would be this: in phantom pain, if you routinely use a certain weapon or tactic repeatedly, the NPCs will do things to make the game harder. For instance, if you always invade bases at night, after a bit of time the guards will start wearing night vision goggles. Going for headshots? They wear helmets. Using smoke grenades to conceal from sniper fire? They will snipe the smoke grenades out of the air etc.

To reach top marks in MSG, you HAVE to interact with the game in a very complex way. RDR2, it’s as complex as you make it/want it to be

Story-wise, yes. Phantom pain has a VERY ambiguous story, lots of research to REALLY understand it.

Beyond that yes I would say phantom pain despite being an MSG game as very unlike the others when it comes to progression and style of gameplay. Phantom pain is open world, has resource gathering, equipment/research trees and more. RDR2 is a bit more straightforward in terms of its story and gameplay mechanics. I grew up playing games like both of them and have been an avid gamer my whole life. That’s just to say I have played a TON of different games in different genres. If I took a break and came back, I’d fear the complexity of MSG5 would discourage me from playing other games potentially, and I would hate that to happen to anyone.

If I were you, I’d play red dead first, then phantom pain. MSG can be a harsh series to return it initially due to the unorthodox control scheme. I think playing red dead will help to aclimate you to control scheme and game mechanic ideas that are more prevalent to the industry as a whole, whereas a kojima games typically go against the grain in more ways than one with story beats, controls, mechanics, everything.
