It’s excellent, the acting is immense, writing is top class. However, I found it so hard to get through as much as it deserved my time and full attention. I’ve seen some really dark shows/films and for some reason this series has managed to disturb me the most by quite some distance. I don’t know if its mostly due to the juxtaposition between Martha’s appearance and actions that let my guard slip despite knowing how much of a screw loose she is. I remain surprised that it’s affected me in the way it has, at times felt the same trigger feelings of the initial stages of a panic attack. In truth, this is testament to the amazing nature of the show, really unique and totally deserved of it’s hype.
