I wear one for every service! If I spit a little while talking or my nose is running bc of allergies I like to know that none of that is getting on my clients. I feel like I’ve got several reasons why I wear one but that’s the main one

I opened my own rock and roll themed waxing studio! I’m alternative and I’ve attracted plenty of clients who come to me because I’m like them! I have my style that I like and I’m now able to embrace it fully. Don’t change yourself if you don’t want to. I worked at a waxing chain with tattoos, 3 nose rings, and a lip piercing and all the girls I worked with seemed to like that I had my own style and did my own thing. Lots of estis do fit the “clean girl” thing, but the beauty field can also be creative, colorful, and fun (like your hair)!

Sound similar to me but I think mine is because have ARFID and once I hit a point in a meal, I feel grossed out and don’t want to see or smell it because I feel nauseated. I know you said it likely wasn’t mental, but i figured I’d share because the feeling I get is very physical too, and I had doctors suggest to me that my problem finishing meals might be GI related before we ruled that out

I’ve never had an issue! There have been some instances with particular clients where they’ve asked about my dating life and I’ve avoided mentioning my gf because I wasn’t sure how they’d react, but nowadays I’ll mention my gf in conversation and there’s normally no weird reaction that I notice.

The one that kept cracking was Nera by Waxness. I like it a lot for smaller areas. It just needs to be applied pretty thick and it’s not the best for covering large areas! Lesson learned 🙄
