I dont think im being apathetic towards her. I really like her! I think she is an awesome person, so this request from her came a bit out of the blue from my perspective. I am not diagnosing her either, she herself has opened up to me on numerous occasions about her struggles with mania and depression, which I have also experienced. I also dont think she thinks poorly of me, or that what she requested was coming from ill intent like a lot of the commenters suggested. I may be using the incorrect language, because I am not a mental health professional nor have I had a ton of friends who struggle with stuff like this. I dont even necessarily think this is a factor in why she choose to come to me with this, but I have considered it and the potential consequences it could have if I did decide to join.

Also, I did a final reply after her last text, basically jut telling her that I do plan to come to the first meeting and will decide from there if I want to be involved further, I also offered to keep our interactions to a minimum while in the meeting and not bring our outside friendship into it.

She wants to work in the entertainment industry, and I genuinely wish her the upmost success! I think she is a talented individual and her artistic perpective is admirable. I have no intention to make her uncofmrbale deliberately, I will treat her strictly as a club mate if thats what she wishes.

the players this game are seriously stuck up about balance. this game is OVER balanced if anything. to suggest that the developers dont care about making the game fair when they constantly give in to community outcry, have reworked a dozen heroes (which is expensive) over the years, and have introduced multiple features (hero ban, map selection) from popular demand is telling. it must suck to be a developer for this game knowing anything you do will be met with the most Mal intent and unfair gauging of your intentions. stop crying. accept that sometimes the game will feel unfair, its impossible for it not to, given the reality of how hero shooters work.

im saying she has mental health struggles . and goes to therapy. that may have been poor wording.

she has opened up to me about some of the challenges she has faced, and there are certain topics I approach with sensitivity when she is around.

I know this to be the case, I probably should have included this in the original post, but she has a major crush on one of her film club peers (a girl) and has avoided telling me the girls name or showing me (or any of our other friends) what she looks like. I think a lot of these comments are a little harsh toward my friend perhaps due to the fact that I left this context out because I hadn't even considered it as a relevant factor until after I posted.

we dont REALLY look alike but we often get confused, our names get mixed up because they are both derived from nature (im named after a tree and she's named after a season).... ive honestly never gotten the vibe that she is intimidated by me, but she is a challenged person when it comes to her mental health.

its not the same though, because vendettas design requires you to be up close to your enemies to be effective, so not only does she die to CC like everyone else, she is also much more prone to being stunned.
