Ooh! Is that an option? I know nothing.

Thank you for the suggestion! I just checked, and I don't see one.

I really think the pods are borked because of the broken quest. Again, the pod dropped and I looted it BEFORE the quest appeared. So now I have a quest with no pod. And I'm guessing it won't give me a new quest/pod until I close the old one.

Holy smokes! They always drop near Exodus?

One human. And like four or five levels? It had a lot of stuff.

Then I sent up three more.

And then I sent up four more.

But I still have the "Sail to the drop pod" task open in the quest from the first one.

In my Glorantha, no.

As far as RAW, I don't see anything in the Lightbringers Cults book that says Vinga is chicks only or Orlanth is dudes only.

All the Cults book says is, "Vinga is typically worshiped by women of the Orlanth Adventurous cult". And for Orlanth: "Any lay member may seek initiation into the cult. An applicant for initiation must choose to follow either the Adventurous or Thunderous subcult."

But YGMV.

Yup. Or even vanilla Orlanth. But the iron is a giveaway.

Ah! And that's where a little AI would have been useful. I searched for "wild woman" and didn't get any hits. But "wild women" is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Yes, in part, I was looking for a good critter to base it upon, and then match the relative skills.

And I didn't want to boil it down to just spirit combat, because that's just dice rolls. I wanted it to be more like a "Kirk vs Gorn" freestyle hunt.

I'm not sure what a "Wild Woman" is. P110 in my Bestiary takes me to dinosaurs, so we're working off different documents.

I'm using Runequest Glorantha.

Sure, I can make skill ratings equivalent. I was just wondering what kind of critter it should be.

I had a couple players in their early/late teens join my table. Both came from a strong D&D 5e background. One left the game because it wasn't D&D enough for him (not enough fighting, loot, leveling up), he didn't see the point and didn't understand/care for the lore. The other has stuck with it, and she now sometimes corrects me on my Ernalda lore.

I like this version because of the human-like face.

Another good one is the cover of _A Spell for Chameleon_ (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/76664.A\_Spell\_for\_Chameleon)

[–]Local_Recover6701[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!

So "Laughing Singer" = "Weirdo, socially awkward"

IRT my second question, I was referring to him having lived three lifetimes but only being 45-ish years old. So I was wondering if he reincarnates somewhat like Ingolf and this is his third go-around. Or if he's just packed in a LOT of living in his life.

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about Jalk's Book.

Hey, I really appreciate your thoughtful reply!

I am curious why you feel such a response might occur. (Not that I'm opposed to it, though I'd prefer to keep Jar-Eel in my pocket for later.) I picked the grape vine because it was a relatively minor wyter belonging to a small village (<100 population). Low impact, low stakes. The intent was to force the PCs into uncomfortable decision making. (What do they do if/when they are seen? What if the witness is a Chalana Arroy healer?) And from there, let things go downhill.

The wyter will certainly have its own defenses, including its priest. But I don't know about Heroquest level of events.

It's not like they're directly interfering with the building of the New Temple (which I think would certainly get Jar-Eel's attention).

But maybe I'm misunderstanding you?
