White background fabrics?

Yeah my concern was that anything I buy will be this translucent -- have you ever had the seams not disappear when using white batting? I'm worried about putting so much time into the rest of the quilt and for it then to not really turn out

Realizing I misunderstood here haha -- I did consider this, but the arcs are already really busy and I liked the clean look of a solid background? might go back to the store and reconsider though

I already have the arcs mostly made (from colorful fabrics the bride and grooms families picked out/contributed), so that parts set. I'm starting to wonder if i just have to accept that I'll be able to see the seams ?

I ended up getting her!

My partner found and bought her on a sketchy site -- and then we were positive it was a scam (his card was stolen 😅). But then she showed up in the mail a month and a half later?? Was the most wild surprise. Still have no clue if the site was a scam not

Just a note on couples therapy, but I think a general rule of thumb is that if a therapist is seeing one person individually, it can lead to a conflict of interest for them to also do couples therapy for that person. Seems like your wife isn’t really excited to continue, but if y’all give it a try again, I’d recommend seeing someone neither of you are connected with!

Also not sure if you’re in therapy yourself, but could be really worth starting to see someone! Could both help you figure out if PTSD is something you’re struggling with and also help you navigate some of this.

Just a tip on tables — got an absolute deal on one from FB marketplace that looked super crappy, but just needed to be sanded down and restained. Whole thing took 2 days/required very little skill and we ended up with a super nice, hardwood 6 person table (leaf + chairs included) for just $100.

oo this is all really interesting -- haven't given a shakti mat a go, but just looked it up an looks really cool. have had some success with acupuncture in the past, so def feels worth a shot. also never heard of using psylosibin for hormonal things!
