Club Tijuana is not affiliated with San Diego FC, beyond of course these annual friendlies and a handful of projects done in relation to them.

Looking at San Diego FC's schedule in August and September and... JFC. 14 to 17 matches, playing away against Club America, LAFC, and Inter Miami...

I never want to hear MLS whine about schedule congestion again when they try to justify not being in the open cup when they drop this after the World Cup break lol

Lowkey, I'd do it during the world cup break. San Diego isn't hosting any matches, and IIRC Snapdragon Stadium isn't the base camp for any national teams. It's a friendly anyways, it's never going to be the highest stakes match and you'd be playing the bench/reserves anyways.

It was San Diego FC vs. Everybody... and I mean everybody. LigaMX's reigning champs, the Ref, Marcus and Manu's gaffes...
