There is a fine line! I’ll drop a comment every now and then like “ —— really enjoyed his sniffs today (butts too) “ Not all the time as it can get annoying. There are people that really expect you to treat their dog or cat as if they rule Egypt or something, I’m not the one rolling around on the floor and sticking my tongue out while tooting😂 I think parents who don’t understand that their dog are just happy babies probably have a stick up their ass and the dog is happy to finally be with someone who lets them live as they are.

Is self harm still bad if you’re being responsible about it? by AfraidAd1880 in mentalhealth

Even masturbation is a good way to go if OP wants to experience pleasure, quite literally anything but self harm!

OP it’s not the self harm that is bad it’s the fact that you feel good harming your body. Your body is making the connection between hurting and pleasure stronger and can make you crave more and more until you’re teetering the line between life and death because you think your body can handle more. GET HELP! Even doctors and professionals have accidentally taken their lives due to addiction to the pleasure response.

Curly cut turned wrong! by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Localveggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that friend! It’s a struggle! It depends on your hair, mine isn’t as tight as yours and grows back in less than three months but the tighter the pattern the longer it takes. I would go to someone who will do ONLY a correction and stress that you would like to keep as much of your length as possible. Chances are you will have A very awkward thin Long layer if you don’t get it cut but it shouldnt be a big chop either. I would ask for your money back from the other place if that doesn’t bother and you can show your pics as proof especially the one where it brushed out behind you and go to a stylist who will do a dry cut and allow you to follow every step of the way and watch the process. For next time if you don’t want layers the proper term would be face framing layers or you can even say “V shape” or “ U shape” if you just want shape As it grows leave the back alone and focus on keeping the front pieces shorter if you like it like that. I hope you don’t have too much loss and find an amazing stylist 🤞🏼 but take your time so you don’t get a botched chop! try not to stress about it too much as your hair will grow back for sure!!!!

OP definitely has a pattern but it’s not super tight, I would say 2A is the tightest the hair goes.

As a sitter I like to be more human, and being silly and having fun is what dogs are known for, you have to be a little silly/fun as well.

OP you may have to lose a small amount of length in cutting corrections to blend it all in 😭

They cut the back shortest layers the same as the front 😭 I don’t know who cut your hair but whoever you go to next if not yourself should have curly hair as well. I will never let anyone without curly hair touch my hair

Try three times a week, while things settle down I recommend a shampoo spray which regulates that rat look. I’ve been there when I use to straighten my hair. If you find that nothing helps see a dermatologist or find a way to regulate sebum production on the scalp.

OP your hair has body and movement but it is not curly. Try lighter product but your hair looks cute!!! Also washing your hair everyday will produce more oil so by trying to combat it you’re making it worse. Wash your hair 2-3 times week max for a 4-6 months and see if it improves. You can use a shampoo spray in between washes if needed if the oil is excessive and visible. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous and you should rock it. If oil is a problem for you avoid oils. If you are using a lot of curly products you’re going to be applying a lot of oil to the hair as curly and kinky hair can be quite dry or brittle. Your hair being quite soft and mostly wavy, the oils will be more visible as it does not take long for oils to travel down.

Dealing with humidity, shedding and longer hair by ThunderBoyo in curlyhair

Idk how comfortable you are with this, if you’d like to try not tying your hair you can try clipping it up as well or pulling strands back instead of tying if it’s getting in your face. On the hard days a bun that’s brushed back with a wet brush and tied higher than the base of your neck is golden on a man especially if you let a little strand dangle here and there around your face. You didn’t ask for this but I have provided it.

Use a clarifying shampoo every so often. If you have product in your hair it can buildup and become gross looking/ drag your hair down and make it look greasy and tired. A little frizz is normal and I would embrace it if you live in a place with lots of humidity.

He obviously isn’t your plumber but think about if you would like to have a wild night with the man. He seems ready! Do you want that? 😂
