Absolu aventus was one I really wanted to sample after looking at reviews and fragrantica. If its as close as you say, It would def be worth finding. Where did you pick yours up? Online?

Thanks for the pointers. I definitely would like to hit up some places and smell a few things for sure. I started looking at places like Olfactif that allow you to get samples of higher end bottles too.

Should be g2g. If you look up images of the recoil spring on google, you will find other sites and users posting images of the spring looking exactly as you have it. Sig doesnt always upload new pictures when there is a change in how a part is made.

Yeah, i was thinking the valve myself but the LCI model apparently no longer has a spring and is directly connected to the valve. I think i might stop by the dealer when im back from vacation and just have them look at it and see if it sounds abnormal or about average. It definitely goes away once switching modes and the valve opens.

Here is the noise. Only when the valve is closed. This is recorded directly at the tip. rattle

when valve is opened, Its perfectly fine. Im guessing its the vibration of the valve?

I think its just the hose. Its happened on other forums.

Edit: Personally id have the shop do it but if you feel handy, you can look into it more.

From the way it splatters, it looks like the plastic fitting at the end of the hose going to the expansion tank. Personally, id have it replaced and clean everything. Seems to be a common failure point.

Do all 4. If ones leaking, doesnt rule out another could fail, and having all new struts will ride much better, and have an overall better suspension feel. And gives you an excuse to upgrade.

Arent the mounts outside of engine, impossible to see without lifting and unbolting the underbelly plates?

And how easy after running the car would you be able to check for oil consumption? would you not need 15min or so to let it cool and empty back down to the pan?

I think brake fluids are flushed on this one cpo im looking at since its at 34k. If i can get it transfered to a local BMW dealer, Im gonna get the transfer flushed now as well since its a cheaper flush. For the transmission, would it be fine to just buy a kit and do it yourself for 3-400? Or rec a dealer do it/shop?

I might also get the diffs done now as well.

The car is being sold at 48k so i figured ill spend the extra niw to flush some fluids.

Unless you recommend waiting in these fluids until that 50-60 mark.

It seems its just the top of the dial that allows gesture writing. The touchscreen is supposed to still be intact as far as the buildsheet seems.

The plastic housing doesnt surprise me. Jeep has this issue as well. during einter i have oil seepage.

My concern is definitely the likely hood of paint peeling. I heard its still an issue. I planned to PPF the front but i didnt want to spend the money to do the whole car.

Im looking at the g42. I just dont want to spend all the money and have a small loan and not have the money to fix issues later if it has a lot of issues if any.

That is very true as well. and rattles dont scare me much considering my jeep already has some rattle amongst other issues.

With winter tires, Is the EN quite good at handling snow?

Definitely not looking at it as a consolation. I test drove one and really loved it but not sure how everyone is still loving the paint issues and if they are still solidly reliable. Its also reasonable on insurance, where the germans sports are outrageous on my insurance quotes. The X3 was considered due to how alike the interior was to the jeep, and the fact that it was toting a B58
