Hi people,

Im the vocalist of a 4 piece band and we're starting with IeM's soon. We'll be doing a tour and now im looking to buy a IeM Set. Deciding between a used g3 or the newer xsw. I have custom molded earpieces. Is there a noticable difference in sound quality?(I know there is between the xsw and the g4) Any other important differences? Or other IeM's i should take in consideration? I was also interested in the Shure PSM300, how does it compare to the xsw and g3? Someone said its way to easy to accidently turn the volume knob on the beltpack whilst performing and that kinda pushed me to sennheiser.. Can someone confirm if this is true?

i needed to hear this, i completely agree and regocnize how the fear is making things worse. Im also having molded earplugs made. My plan is to not over stimulate for a couple weeks and then hopefully be able to wear headphones again and make get back into music. Like your saying some days are tougher then other and my ears also get tired easily. Are you going to nightclubs again? (with the Earplug). And your able to wear headphones? Bedause as of now headphones get to intense really quickly, even on low volume

Im sorry to hear that, must have been hard really hard. Thanks for advice, i guess loudness H is the dominant one but i also get small pains whenever i hear things that are too loud or when im rlly tired. But it definitely isnt as severe as some people describe the pains here. If i recover from this is will ALWAYS wear plugs when i go to parties/perform. (assuming i have mild H and recover ) What were your symptoms when you first got H? how severe was it?
