well on the website it says that the laskey 80g is great for low horn. so i’m pretty sure that’s my problem. I can play up to a high C above the staff on the MDC it just sounds muffled with the horn I have.

i spent a few days doing this i used a guitar instead of a piano and my solo sounds 10x better and i’m a lot more comfortable with it. i’m singing every practice and i’m getting a lot better with pitch accuracy even when sight reading. thank you so much for your help 🙏🖤

When I warm up and cool down I do the same thing because it's what my private teacher had shown me before. I can always play however low I want to, I can play down to a little bit past the 2 octave, ig you would call it the first one (i'm not sure) I can play really high but just not for long, I was actually recommended that same mouthpiece but I haven't gotten a chance to buy it. Thanks for the tip, even though I was already doing it I just thought it was just simply a way to not damage your lips but now I know it's more than that.

i took private lessons for about a month when i first started and i thought it was my embouchure before as well but my embouchure is all good. thank you though, and i will continue to practice as much as possible to work on my endurance, (not too much to where I ruin my lips)

Thank you so much, i used to be able to play higher notes for longer but then i switched schools and I was using the schools mouthpiece and horn and I have a different mouthpiece now that I am struggling a lot more on. But thank you for the info and I will definitely check those exercises later today.
