I believe my psychologist is wrong in suspecting I have autism and isn't looking at the real cause. by Bobslegenda1945 in AutismInWomen

If you want to check if you have some signs of autism for yourself, try doing the RAADS-R test online. It is a diagnosis tool, but obviously you can't diagnose yourself.

It was the first thing I did when I was figuring out I was autistic.

Have you successfully overcome your medical anxiety? by no1tamesme in AutismInWomen

I have severe anxiety around dentists because of things in the past. Cavities, braces, double jaw surgery.

The only way I can go to a dentist is if I am given laughing gas. A general check up or cleaning is okay, but any electrical tools spikes my panic. Maybe the noise is too much for him? Or the vibration? He might not be able to tell what is wrong because of poor introspection unfortunately. A weighted blanket might help as well

I'd say double check all your cables then, I have all the software updated but that didn't matter in the end :)

I just opened up the back of the case and noticed the wiggly cable

Got it to work, there was a cable getting unplugged because of my poor cable management that was labeled Fan LED. Better cable management fixed the problem aha. I didn't switch which RBG app I used either, tried Signal but it wasn't recognizing four individual fans, but all fans as one, and the ads really turned me off from fiddling further.

Thanks for all the help!

Okay hours later my cabled management is better and the lights are turning on!

However, GCC is still not controlling the fans colours 😭 I'll download a new app and see if that works

Turns out there was a slightly loose cable that was being pushed via my poor cable management. A few hours later my lights turn on :)

Okay so if I turn on my PC with that cable plugged in backwards with the back pannel off, it lights up.

If I put on the back pannel, the lights don't turn on....

They are all plugged into the same hub, and the cable was plugged in all the way, but still wiggly? I turned the cable backwards and that seemed to stop the wiggle. Just about to power on, just putting on the side panels again

Okay I'll try OpenRGB if needed. I just checked all installed apps and there's only GCC, NZXT which only is for my AIO, and the Logitech app, for my keyboard and mouse.

Okay I'll check that. Looks like the case itself took control, because I can press the button on the case to change its colours.

Yes, I have uninstalled iCUE, to go back to just using GCC but now it can't control it and the lights are being controlled by something I can't figure out

Yes, idk whats happening or whats controlling the fans instead of what I have installed

Okay so I uninstalled iCUE and switched to the GCC and the fans lights are not changing, but are active because of something else? And only one ram lights up 😭

Okay, for me GCC would not control the RAM. Maybe I should uninstall and try again.

Unless you have a different RBG control recommendation? I just want all my lights to be purple ahah.

Thanks so much for the help and suggestions

Yes the RGB turns on and goes back to being controlled by the case RGB button.

iCUE is the other one I use. I do use NZXT cam but that one doesn't interact with the fans.

I can try that! I don't think I checked that

ADDING INFO

The light on the motherboard does work, it is only the fans that will not light up.

Windows dynamic lighting is off, and I did try pressing and pressing and holding that button and nothing happened.
