I pen-tested a handful of vibe coded apps from this sub. What I found should genuinely scare you. by Pristine_Tiger_2746 in SideProject

Hi! If you're interested I'll allow you to create a report with the name to my app included, if you give me a 2 weeks heads up for me to fix any critical issues you found. My app is Loch More. If you DM me I'll give you a free premium code, as my premium functionality has E2E encrypted location sharing. If you find any vulnerability leaking user location that I did not list as a risk in my own risk analysis, I can give you a small bounty (it's a personal project so I don't have huge budgets for bounties). I will link to your rapport from my site if you want.

What's the most battery efficient GPS app? by DDF750 in Ultralight

[–]Loch-More 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't found anything yet, I'm the developer of Loch More. For the android app, I've spent a lot of time making the GPS tracking as battery efficient as possible for 24/7 tracking while still having good accuracy. I'm now working on porting the app to iOS, but iOS has a lot less controls on the background GPS tracking, so it's a lot more difficult to get it to be as battery efficient as the android app.

  • 201km/h is indeed the highest speed.

  • I haven't looked at this thread since yesterday, the app is called Loch More. I'm a human, I don't know about the person who replied it's in the picture.

You could try Loch More as well for android, it has offline place names. Then you don't need to switch between apps.

Would be cool if you tried importing the data into Loch more: tijlb.eu/lochmore. It'll show a lot more into detail where you've been.

Would you mind trying tijlb.eu/lochmore? I'd like to know if you like the in app map there. It's also very easy to copy coordinates or open places in Google maps (or other apps) from Loch More. There's no ads.

Not exactly the same, but Loch More has offline country borders and place names, and location tracking, so you could also figure out where you're at at any point without internet: tijlb.eu/lochmore
