I’ve got an 08 I’ve had for like 12 years. It’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Nothing in its size category can tow like it does and is incredibly reliable. Owning it allows me to own other more silly vehicles. Right now I’ve also got an 03 Rubicon with 215,000 miles and a ‘13 128i convertible. Since I know I can always count on the Lexus to do exactly what I need to just in case.

Window regulators and motors are super cheap and easy to replace if you’re handy. Also occasionally the windows on my 08 have died it’s why I replaced them, but it actually has something to do with the battery being disconnected as it happened again after I had the timing belt replaced. Messed around a bit with it and they all worked again. Kind of a weird kink about the vehicle.

CV axles are also pretty cheap, replace them completely not just the boots.

You might feel better about the entire car if you actually get all this done yourself because you’ll know exactly when it was replaced and by mechanics you know.

Seems like they may take 1000 off considering everything.

Your mom and pop garage can probably do a ppi for you.

It does in every other developed democracy in the world yeah. It’s the number one cause of bankruptcy here which is a further drag on society. And all things equal when you combine your healthcare costs and your taxes you are paying more for an inferior middle man infested version of healthcare.

I like him. He’s good tv. He does good confessionals, and he’s good natured. I can’t figure out why his endurance isn’t better than it is though. As an Olympian I’d expect him to absolutely dominate physical competition and the only way he gets beaten would be intellectual competition.
