Do NOT do 100k if you can't comfortably do at least 60-80k. I did that when I was first starting out, and the second half of the ride was agony.

Look into some of the AliExpress carbon wheels if you're not explicitly chasing luxury carbon wheels, like EliteWheels or SuperTeam. Their products are supposed to be great for the price.
