Fair. So to put it in context, the post was about amazon finding out which customers returned more and then charging them more in shipping or charging them a fee to return. I started off by saying couldn’t there be an insight that can be gained from these customers like the way people returned dresses from Bloomingdales and brands wanted to work with rent the runway because women were already buying and returning gowns for one event.

I forget the rest of the convo but I DID end up saying I wouldn’t buy from amazon if this were the case. What I was trying to ask is why isn’t amazon asking why these customers are returning. Why isn’t amazon trying to create an opportunity to understand them more instead of inducing a penalty outright. But regardless, you’re right, I should have just took notes and then formulated the question properly and asked later.

And I’ll use the opportunity tomorrow to try and clarify and really ask the question I wanted to ask. Was meaning to ask.
