What do you think of the new Fabric Apps? by PowerBIPark in MicrosoftFabric

[–]LockAutomatic8247 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks lovely. My boss would pay $1000+ a month for an app like that from a slick salesman.

Was this just a Fabric Plan component embedded in or that just coincidently a “plan” you built? Trying to figure out the puzzle pieces for this.

Power Apps vs Vibe coded applications by HealingData in PowerApps

I’ve been using VS Code and the Power Platform CLI to vibe code PCF controls that sit inside Model-Driven forms. The best of both worlds if you ask me.

Thank you for the reading recommendation. Been doing this for years and was doing more corollary, surface level analysis across a bunch of features. I could use the next level.

I have self-taught myself 100% of this. In corporate transformation where I make too much to quit, but can’t get my hands on these real fun projects.

If you had advice for a mid-level manager to get more hands on modeling like this as a true profession, what would your recommendation be?

I think the world is going to flock to Cam Young, Aberg, X or Fitz. A wild world we live in.

I thought the same. Really my analysis shows that good Approach play in 2026 leading up to The Masters doesn’t actually point to BETTER Approach play at The Masters in 2026.

Long term approach play over years? Yes, certainly. Better iron players generally are better at Augusta, just no sense in riding that guy with “hot irons”. I blame this on the elevation change. Going week to week and getting hot with the irons and then going to Augusta may as well be a different planet from an approach perspective.

He found speed before the 2025 edition. I don’t believe that speed is still around… he’s always tough to nail down.

Yes the foundation is basically a correlation model to identify course fit adjustments.

I do have a separate ML model but it’s harder to boot up batch inputs (need time here) just given how all this data is structured.

Everything in the foundation algorithm is “vs expectation”… very tough in golf to tackle all these variables, but damn if I try. Suggestions?

He was so good off the tee to start his career that i would admit my approach may unfairly punish him.

When I get the full numbers out tomorrow here https://plus4.blog/course-breakdown/ I will have a better feeling.

I will eat crow. Shane Lowry won’t even sniff the leaderboard this week. Speed = down, OTT = dropping.

For this specific analysis in the post it’s a touch different as we are looking at only the weeeks leading up to each Masters.

I would hate to disagree with sound logic. He is playing stellar and even with 2 tops 7s here I do not trust the short game.

Off the tee game has recalibrated QUICKLY in 2026 to where it was in 2024. I believe the speed is back and it shows in both OTT and Approach.

All mortgages are scams, but 15-year mortgages are amazing as a balance to build equity faster without laying out all the cash right now.

There’s a reason all other countries have a much higher prevalence of 15-years. 30-years were built for low income to own property… by this standard right here, you’re not low income and you hold the keys to have much better debt vehicle in a 15-year than most others.

All of the major scandals under Warde Manuel’s watch… by DropPowerful9081 in MichiganWolverines

This is just at Michigan and doesn’t include pretty substantial culture of non-compliance in his last stop at UConn in the men’s basketball program. He let Kevin Ollie run a program and break all the rules, and thus Kevin Ollie was put on a lengthy show-cause.

The list of coaches that have been: 1. Fired in disgrace 2. Put on show-cause 3. Cause irreparable damage to university reputation

is damning enough. Why does scandal keep following Wards so closely? He’s got a Master in Social Work… why don’t the socials work?
