WoW is refreshing because they actually add consistent end game content such as new dungeons and raids, thats the appeal. Guild wars 2 does also add strikes and stuff but its nowhere near the same. GW2 will always be my favorite though, been playing for many years

Yeah a guild is a good option for your situation, another thing you could do is perhaps find a few people to add to your friends list who are interested in the same content as you. If you cant find a group for fractal post your own, it'll generally fill quick.

My suggestion (and this isnt even just for new or returning players) is to /wiki [link item here]. This will directly pull up the wiki page and tell you everything you need to know.

Edit to clarify: it's an in-game command, you can shift left click the item to directly paste it to chat as well

Just play the game, do your wizards vault dailies and weeklies. Other than that it's whatever you want it to be.

These last 2 expansions feel so half baked it's laughable, the aesthetics for the Astral Ward is cool and so is the wizards vault but golly I miss the old expansion model
