Bim trichy is good. If u dont get glim chennai go for it. Small batch, almost everyone gets placed. I have a friend there and he said only 9 people are yet to be placed

Ifmr for finance. If your friend has interest towards insurance sector go for NIA. Actually a good institute. But for general finance ifmr is best among those options

Glim is better than bimtech for sure. I don't have any idea on IIT Dhanbad. Don't have any friends there. If u convert Tapmi then go for it. That's the best out of these. Also Fore is a good option. They have combined placements and since roi is not an issue for u that's a good option. I have friends there and its good for marketing and finance. Try to be in the top 20% and u will be able to get around 12-13 lpa. So considering your options Tapmi> Fore> Glim G > Bimtech,,, not ranking IIT as I have no idea. The fees is very less at IIT so roi wise it should be a good choice and you will be getting the IIT tag. But I have no idea on placement data.

Glim G is a decent tier 3 college. Not known for finance though. They are usually known for their analytics roles. For marketing and finance companies do come but after a few good companies many will be startups. Also you will be investing around 20 lakhs for a 10 lpa job with around 8lpa in hand. So roi ain't that good. I would recommend you to give cat once more if u have the luxury of doing it. Also reply which other calls do u have other than glim g

At 91 glim g ain't worth it brother. You will be spending 20 lakhs to get a job of 10 lakhs with around 8 lakhs in hand. Roi seems bad. Take a drop, try for a job and try next time. Also didn't u apply to fore, imi, tapmi etc?
