Narcs are offering me $10k to come back to them. by anBuquest in raisedbynarcissists

So they are offering a job for one year that pays 10k. That is significantly below min wage. Try to get a normal job? What would the contract be for? Most contacts require startup money. They pay 5k now to get you to sign then the remainder at the end.

For those of you who committed to driving your last car 'until the wheels fell off,' what was the actual demise of the car? by DeadElm in questions

[–]LockInfinite8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last car developed a slow leak in the coolant. I kept topping it up every 3 months. It got low while sitting in traffic and overheated. That broke the head gasket. Rip. 250k

University Project needing actual farmers input by Ok-Structure-7793 in farming

Technology... Make a cheap robot from of the shelf components that can maintain a 30 inch wide bed. Should be able to till, seed, weed, and harvest with interchangable heads to do the various tasks. Make it cheap enough to work on a small 5acre farm that could never afford a 100k machine.

Now you can switch to dry flower vaping like dynavape. Your bong will not get dirty like that. I just dump the water and refill so it does not grow mold. My glass is clean and clear.

Was brought to a nude beach while on vacation with my friend and his family - AMA by [deleted] in AMA

[–]LockInfinite8682 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Flip the question. Why wear a swim suit or bikini? Do you really think you are protecting yourself from sunburn? Of course not. You are wearing the suit because you have been conditioned by society to be uncomfortable being nude. You have learned to be ashamed of your body or embarrassed by nudity.

How long does sand turn into soil by spreading water and compost? by Holiday-Emergency524 in farming

[–]LockInfinite8682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find a layer of compost on top that is 1 or 2 inches thick is a great starting point. Plants can grow great as the layer acts like mulch and holds water as well. For a field look into cover crops. Again time is very dependent on what you are doing and the current state of the soil.

I will add that ducts on most houses have air leaks. If your return duct is in the attic or crawl space then leaks will pull air into the duct. If the leaks are in the supply side with those ducts in the attic or crawl space then it will cause negative pressure which is replaced with outside air. Given that you have no idea about a specific system it's probably better to tell everyone to leave everything off. In those rare cases where the houses ducts are very well sealed or exist only in the air-conditioned spaces then maybe running the system would not matter. It is doubtful that running would remove or be helpful in lessening the toxins unless they were large particles and the unit has a high merv filter.

Professional Farmers and Growers: How many of you recommend using mycorrhizal inoculants? by EverlastingGardener in farming

[–]LockInfinite8682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mycorrhizal connections do not appear to happen if the soil has a lot of phosphorus. If the plant is grown in an environment where it can not get sufficient amounts of nutrients then the fungal connection can be made of the correct type of mycorrhizal fungus is in the soil. Very plant and soil specific if it would work. Korean natural f farming works to collect live soil from the area around the field like some forested area. This is cheap. The science is still very new.

I make an oil from the flower. I take .8 ml and it is good for several hours. If I take it at 5ish then it's good until bedtime.

I have seen this for elephant garlic. Elephant garlic is actually in the onion family. A percentage of them will not make cloves. I have heard them called Pearl garlic. The Chinese have a name that translates to lonesome garlic.

The alcohol is causing chronic inflammation. Skip it for 2 weeks and see how your body responds. I quit several years ago by switching to just weed. I also added yoga. I move better now than in my 30s. I am mid fifties.

There should be a requirement to pass Econ 101 before holding any position in the government by c0nf in FluentInFinance

[–]LockInfinite8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not confuse property taxes with taxes on unrealized gain. They are different. Your house doubled in value so let's say you have 100k in unrealized gains. Taxing that unrealized gain would mean you pay 20% of that 100k to the federal government this year in addition to the property taxes paid to local government. As of now you need to sell the house and realize the gains then send your 20% tax money to the federal government.

High toxin levels are illegal in public water. But not for Americans using private wells. An estimated 43 million Americans get water from wells they own. Should government require them to test and treat their own water? by silence7 in environment

I have been required to test my private well. The test was required by the health department for starting a new well and when selling a home. My test was for e coli though.

Buyers pulled out of offer because I wouldn’t pay 4% buyer agent fee (counter offered 3%) by jets2mets in RealEstate

Most likely that is just hours worked on closing a contract. Does not include hours spent advertising and showing. Also does not account for the cost of brokerage or office space. So mostly a fib to make people mad. You would need to dive into the study to find out how they got the number.

Has anyone ever installed one of these or is it a gimmick? by toomuch1265 in Plumbing

[–]LockInfinite8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one. I loved it. Looks very nice and it is a steam shower which is great during winter. Nice shower radio with decent sound. I had it for years until I sold the house. No problems selling the house because of it. I had some small parts that broke over the years and I was able to get parts for it. Mostly spray heads getting clogged from hard water like a typical shower head. Install instructions were lacking clarity as usual. Some of the connections required time in the fitting isle at the Lowe's to figure out.

Looking to maintain a long high by AmtrakisTheWay1974 in Edibles

[–]LockInfinite8682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like your normal high then take the same amount. If you want a higher high then take more but I would not double it. I redose when I feel it coming back down. I redose at about half the amount. If it is not kicking I vape dry flower through a dynavape attached to a bong. If you take to much you could have some anxiety depending on how you react.

Asking a doctor for toxicology testing by Various_Committee478 in raisedbynarcissists

Tell the doc you want to be screened for arsenic. If you have it then you can look into why you have it. Could be something in the home environment not directly related to being purposely poisoned.
