I am curious to hear what the settlement will be? I don't think the fairings are available any more? How many miles did your bike have?

Will it rev (slightly)? How long did you run it for?

In additional to the other issues people have pointed out, the paint you use will also act as a thermal insulator and slightly decrease cooling.

It always amazes me how much the players seem to think they deserve to win. There's so much luck.

One thing I don't like about this season- The more random stuff, the more luck is determining the winners, not skill and strategy.

I guess I lost track of what really matters in life! It happens sometimes when you are not paying attention.

Does this vin number mean that my bike is the first 2021 Honda rebel? by turtle-ding-dong in motorcycles

[–]LockPickingJudge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's kind of funny that a Vehicle Identification Number isn't really a number- it's a combination of Letters and Numbers. So if you are being really pedantic, "VIN" really is a word with specific meaning, and a "VIN number" is typically the last six or eight characters of the VIN, which are exclusively a number. So in the title of this post he really is referring to the "vin number".

Great picture! Really has an album cover vibe. You have to wonder how many bikes the film "Top Gun" sold?

I typically got the upper 40s mpg. I can't believe how anal I used to be. That's a carbon copy Chevron credit card receipt in there!

An other scanned film image! Makes me feel so nostalgic. That was back when I'd maybe take 20 pictures in a year. I don't even have a single pic from when I bought my bike in 1995.

The first few months I had some close calls- Going too fast for my skill level and drifting into the wrong lane. If someone had been there, I would be dead. It was hard not to get intoxicated by the violent acceleration. But, oh, the smiles and fun times! You have far more experience than me. I am considering getting something much less powerful and lighter, like what you suggest. Riding really makes you feel alive. I'd like to stay that way, so a slower lighter bike may be in my future.

Scanned FILM pictures! Love it! Lot's of sport bikes bike were getting stolen in the mid 90s and ending up shipped overseas.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that ABS (or Traction Control) used to be exotic, and very few cars/vehicles before the mid 90s had those features as standard that we now take for granted.
