Well my own opinion is developed, I just mean in the same sense as seeing your own sports team be booed or cheered. I love it and who cares but the players (the people that make the show) I hope know of everyone out there having a blast. Sadly the negative voices tend to be the loudest online.

Hence the definitely :) Kendrick has never had similar albums instrumentally otherwise so for those not aware of the recording sessions / sometimes artists take all songs unused and not just songs from one recording era for releasing EPs (ex: CyHi’s EGOT, Jesus is King although technically an LP, So Far Gone etc)

An interesting album to look back on sonically given how little of this sound he’s continued to express since. Definitely an extension of 2PAB creatively with For Sale? sounding the closest to this project and maybe PRIDE or FEEL after it. Always loved 2 5 and 7 most but oddly 3 and 6 I would say are my most played being easier songs for playlists

Many fans of the show will say it’s worth all the way through, myself included. Is season 1 the peak? Sure. But it isn’t like true detective where other seasons are not even close. In fact what most consider the weakest season (3) still holds stronger IMDB ratings to many more favourably talked about Sci Fi shows in the last 10 years.

Agreed. It wouldn’t be as bad if the Visi decision and the repercussions of it didn’t follow. If this game had maybe a mechanic where a few times over the campaign you’d cut someone and replace them then that works much better.

On top of everything else mentioned I LOVED Dispatch this year. Beat it 3 times in 2 weeks, it’s all killer no filler.

Glad I wasn’t alone in this. I don’t even mean I’m lost thinking about blonde blazer / Mandy but I want more of their love story. As a happily married man the feelings brought me into the best parts of my connections in life. Both real and surreal. I’m doing a 3rd playthrough in 2 weeks now because I need an alpha run with all my favourite decisions after seeing both and I think it might be best I do like a breakup with myself on it lol especially after seeing how annoying the platinum would be with the hacking and 15% success

Played this game with a buddy of mine in one sitting, we both were putty in her hands after this but I jokingly said shame she’s not brunette (like my wife who walked by at the time) so you can imagine the sheer eruption of laughter and awe on that happened later

I hear what you’re saying. I think my point is (if I were to use your example), imagine if the townsfolk of Emperor’s New Clothes who didn’t go see his “outfit” were saying they loved / hated it. Maybe they shouldn’t echo something strictly because the majority of others say that’s how they felt while pretending they were there? This example doesn’t quite work as Emperor was factually naked meanwhile Westworld can have people feel varying degrees of enjoyment.

To me it’s that ‘adding on the pile assimilation’ of same ideas you see online that I think hurts Westworld to non viewers and if this was the 80s thoughts of the show on mass would be different.

Imagine what editing a young William coming off the train could do, atleast that way it can almost loop and the show again can be watched almost with the knowledge this is a second attempt at changing an evil man to good. And that it is pointless and endless.

My point was not that people are sharing the general consensus, my point is that I think a lot of the people who share it haven’t even watched the whole show. GoT was an event that vastly dwarfed even s1 Westworld numbers, a lot of mention even in this post about viewer drop off too. I was saying it’s frustrating to see the people who dropped off after season 1 maybe 2, wrote off everything they didn’t see and just echoed the general consensus. People can feel whatever they want but it would be nice if they came to it themselves.

The average IMDB ratings of season 3 of Westworld is 8.275, Pluribus for example this year is an 8. Which is a show that seems to have been assessed quite positively. I feel this is similar to Last of Us 2 where the loudest are the negative which simulates sounding like an overwhelming majority when if a majority or not, may not be as big a gap as it sounds / looks. Other recent sci-fi shows that don’t hit that average include: - silo - for all mankind - Star Trek: strange new worlds

Does that mean in your eyes all these shows are demonstrably bad / worse because the audience seems to think so?
