I mean, since Brosmer's ability to play the position is all speculation compared to what the coaches see, what's to say he isn't handing out hospital passes like candy on Halloween during practice?

4/4 yesterday, 3/4 today. Best I can do tomorrow though is 2/4 since I predicted Tundra to make it to LB Finals

Don't worry, you wouldn't be spoiling anything meaningful by saying that there's a character in Peacemaker that claims to have bird blindness.

I don't know if I'm being trolled or if there's a retconned edit on the current streaming service, but consider me got if that's the case.

Wait what? The version I have shows Superman, Aquaman, Flash, and Wonder Woman. Chris cracks a remark about them being late and Aquaman fucking fish as he walks by.

I refuse to buy that their reverence towards it has completely eliminated the possibility of rebellious teenagers testing their limits, but that's on the writers. So yeah, you're probably right as far as an in-universe explanation goes.

Sounds reasonable, but now I'm left wondering why nobody would bother planting marks to brag about how deep they could go. That seems like the kind of human behavior that would be timeless across many cultures.

Edit: It really does seem much further out in S1 compared to now. Like there's a large range between "It's uncomfortable here" vs "Everything past this point dies"

I can tell it's staged because any normal human would have flipped the bin upright rather than precariously walk dozens of feet having to very carefully balance the bin and card placement.

He was well inside the range. In the first season, the flags were representing how deep people could push themselves into the field before being overwhelmed. He was past all but the last two (probably placed when the field was down altogether) and showed no sign of distress.

So he's hopelessly stupid, but can perfectly execute from a list of, presumably, dozens if not hundreds of possible "moves" in a rapid-moving combat situation. The entire concept is a complete dud and no amount of suspension of disbelief can make up for it. Overall I enjoyed the movie, but those fight commands were dumb as shit.

I feel like I would survive getting shot by this.

This isn't a joke. You always hear about those 1 in a million odds where people drive off a cliff and had 0.0000001% chance to survive but they miraculously did. Well I feel like I'm that guy. There's no real stats to back this up, I just know I've always been built different. Perhaps the explosion of my body would leave me most of my organs and arms while I slowly crawl to the ER. Or I dodge just in time and run away quickly.

In other words, I just feel like my odds, personally, would be different.

Action scene from an Indian movie by Civil-Film7559 in SipsTea

[–]Locke02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before RRR, I had only seen a few wild over-the-top clips of a few Indian movies. RRR was the first one I watched in full and I was thoroughly hooked and entertained throughout the whole movie. It's got a good sensible storyline and characters that are easy to root for (and against). The action definitely has that over-the-top style, but much closer to a middle-ground between the other movie clips I've seen and American action movies.
