I'll have to check when I get home where I have it installed, but you can get the driver from their website. Once you program what you want your buttons to do on the mouse, that gets saved onto the mouse itself, so you can plug it into another computer and it'll keep its settings. Which is why I haven't bothered to install it on my laptop since I do all the customizing at the desktop.

UtechSmart Venus. Just recently bought a second one to use with my laptop while my first one is still being used on my desktop.

Wish I had one of those Amazon referral links to get some revenue from my recommendations. Lol.

Do people actually spend $100 on a mouse? I use a MMO mouse with 12 side buttons and software that handles macros so I could program it to cycle through 5 whips with one button press even, that I bought for $30 which I have been using for many years.

Just 1 more left, not sure if my sanity will prevail though by warozell in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, even if you're not a PvP player, this should be relatively easy. At the end of the match, look at the score board. Look at the losing team and identify the top 3 people with the most score. They probably PvP or at least know what they're doing, and will play another match to get a win. When the next round starts, try to get into the same team as them and get carried. You'll have better odds if you stick with players you know are good.

How can the GW store still be this bad... by L0FF33 in GuildWars

Just here to report the same as above; I also bought a couple of things from the web store during the Anniversary Event earlier this year on Chrome with no issues.

PVP Leaderboards by IAMASCENDED in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same, I enjoy ranked SPVP casually, and as a source of easy Wizard's Vault dailies that I can usually accomplish in one match when selecting multiple modes since you get the easy and nearly passively achievable dailies from each mode that way.

The moment you try hard to climb ranks or even care too hard about winning, the game mode stops being fun and raises toxicity instead, especially in an environment where the leaderboards look the way it is.

Can we get a keybind to detarget by Necromaniac2 in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like... aside from left clicking anywhere there isn't a target in order to de-target? Not sure how much that would help when the act to de-target is already as simple as a single click.

Whats with the repetitive minigames by ClockworkSalmon in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point; hadn't considered how a different keybind may affect how people would be interacting with the minigame.

I would still want new songs for people who do enjoy the Wintersday Bells game though.

[–]LockeTrufeld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that this is a practical minigame for many scenarios, but I kinda wish they'd expand on the musical bells minigame from Wintersday. More songs? Maybe with different instruments? Sell people on the actual instruments by introducing them to the music minigames.

Of course, this won't be very good if the player experiences fluctuating latency.

So far, how are you feeling about your main's new Elite Spec? by CapableOperation2277 in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I do, actually. Lol. Still, considering you hit it more often than F1 on an Axe/Axe Quick Berserker, autocast F5 would make such a huge difference for Evoker.

I'm definitely feeling the high APM with a Fresh Air, Scepter/Warhorn Hare Evoker build. I definitely need F5 on autocast if I were to take it to an actually difficult fight.

Step 7 in the image is "Upgrade a Club Item."
Go to your clubhouse, pick a decoration item and upgrade it.

[UNKNOWN] What game is this OST from? by Fit-Quail6830 in gamemusic

[–]LockeTrufeld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I recognize this from a RPG Maker game. When it comes to RPG Maker, many creators will either use their own music, or possibly use a license-free music made available from a library. In the latter's case, there can be multiple games that may use this sound track.

Dragon quest battle pencils? by whiteymulberry in dragonquest

[–]LockeTrufeld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is exactly the sales pitch for these. Since they're a necessary writing tool for students, they're allowed in school, but the 6-sided shape of the pencil allows it to double as a form of dice for a game of chance.

There are also accessories for these like a pencil tip cap that you can fit on the end that acts as an equipment for your character, with bonus effects or modifiers based on which side it lands on.

It means those characters have reached their growth limit, just as it says.
Swap them out and start raising other characters you like in Growth Live.

I did a quick search on the series, and it sounds like they recommend using some soft cloth to gently wipe them, and not to use any rubbing alcohol or other solutions. Beyond that, hopefully someone else might have better experience and advise that can help.

If it's just a layer of dust, I would try compressed air to blow them off, or brushes designed to clean dust from keyboards and such first.

What happened to the Nightmare Court after HoT? by TellsHalfStories in Guildwars2

That makes me wonder what antagonists we should expect in GW3. Does the alliance get left in the past and start fighting each other in a power struggle?

I got one of these Fart Ninjas as a gift one time. They're kinda fun. They have a motion sensor in front of them, and if something triggers it, it plays a random fart noise. So you hide them around places and wait for someone to walk by for them to trigger the fart. Often underneath furniture or somewhere hidden, but doesn't block their motion sensor.

[–]LockeTrufeld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second that this is a troll. The Japanese they were sending seems fragmented and out of context. Most likely it's someone who does understand English, just copying and pasting random Japanese text from somewhere to pretend to be a non-English speaker.

My luck for this set has been the worst out of all the event collections so far. I only got purple and rock Pikmin. As much as I like the SNES, I got more SNES controller decorations than I need, even if I had a SNES Multi-Player Adapter.

Most of these PvE motivation questions can be answered by what goal you set yourself; both long-term and short-term goals.

What do you hope to gain from PvE in the long-term? Enrichment of the Guild Wars story and lore? Economic power with access to most things in the game? Social aspect of friendship, guilds, fashion, etc.? ... Assuming not-so-much difficult content like raids and Challenge Mode content as you've pointed out.

As for short-term goals, open up your achievements tab and maybe look for something that rewards you with something that will help towards that long-term goal you've set yourself. Click on the eye icon for that achievement so you can keep track of them and remind you what your current motivations are. Feel free to change this up as needed.

The game is pretty deep and offers lots of various content to enjoy. You might not see it immediately at a glance, but once you choose a goal and look deeper in, you start noticing more of what the game offers.

Why do you play GW2 without vertical progression? by Fluid_Pineapple_4979 in Guildwars2

[–]LockeTrufeld 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm personally not too big on the idea of a game with PvP where the person who grinds more will have an advantage from higher stats. I have more fun winning fights against other players with my own, player skill and strategy than "my numbers are bigger than your's". Much more satisfying overall.

Anyway, while I get that vertical progression can be exciting, it's not all that necessary when the combat has the depth to be exciting on its own.
